What is resin bolt?

Resin bolts, also known as chemical anchors or adhesive anchors, are a type of fastener used in construction and engineering projects to provide a secure, load-bearing connection between a structural element and a substrate such as concrete, masonry or rock.

Resin bolts are made up of two main components – a threaded rod or bar and a resin adhesive that is injected into a pre-drilled hole in the substrate around the rod. The resin cures and hardens, creating a strong bond between the rod and the substrate.

Resin bolts are commonly used in applications where high load capacity and long-term durability are required, such as in bridge and tunnel construction, seismic retrofitting, and the anchoring of heavy machinery and equipment. They are also used in structural repair and reinforcement projects.

According to the type of rod body can be divided into three categories:
The end of the metal rod body is machined into a certain specification of left twist anchor head, and the tail is machined into screw threads for nuts. Ribbed bars with non-longitudinal ribs (ribbed bars with non-longitudinal ribs) are made of non- ribbed svell ribs and the tail ribs are machined into nuts. Fully ribbed resin bolts are made of right (or left) spiral rolled rebar with continuous thread and can be loaded onto the nut.
